My experience

I led a major refactor of the codebase to align with modern React best practices, which significantly boosted the platform's performance by 50%. I also developed over 10 new features, including a client dashboard to streamline project creation, redesigned multiple pages, and built a mortgage calculator—features that directly contributed to an increase in sales.

To support future growth, I created technical documentation outlining best practices for working with Next.js and Express.js using the MVC architecture. This helped onboard new developers faster and improved overall code quality.

I also wrote hundreds of unit tests to ensure reliability and smooth production deployments. On the project management side, I helped implement agile processes and the Scrum framework, improving team collaboration and speeding up delivery by 30%.

I always tried to take initiative and propose new ideas to improve the platform. For example, adding typescript result in a better development experience and a more reliable codebase.

This is a spelling bee game where you have to find words with 7 give letters. The game is built with Next.js and uses a MongoDB for the database. The application is deployed on Vercel. You can play the game without an account, a pages with hints is available and the solutions of the previous day are displayed.

This ongoing project is a fitness application that allows you to create plans for your workouts and nutrition. You can create an account, log in, and start tracking your progress. The application is built with Next.js and uses a mongoDB database to store user data. The backend is built with Node.js and Express.js.

This ongoing project is blog for a student association at McGill University. The blog is built with Next.js and uses a supabase as a backend. The application is deployed on Vercel. The whole administration is handle on the platform.

This is clothing store built with React.js where you can do everything that you usually do on a clothing store. There are categories of clothes, you can add clothes to the cart and even checkout. You can also authenticate on the website with an email and password or with Google. The authentication was done with firebase. For checkout, payment is handle with Stripe's serverless

This React.js project allows you to detect a face in an image with help of the Clarifai API. Once you get on the app you will have to register or sign in. The information you give will be sent to the backend. The backend server was made with node.js and express.js. The backend is linked to a postgreSQL database. The application is deployed on Heroku.
